Following the enthusiastic response to the first round, we cordially invite award winners and students nominated by schools/teachers to challenge themselves in the “2026 International Apex English Reading Championship – Semi-Finals”!
比賽日期 Date: 2026年3月28日 至 4月5日 (March 28 – April 5, 2026)
形式 Format: 全網上考核 (Online Assessment)
亮點 Highlights: 題目由英國及澳洲教育學家編撰，參照 CEFR 標準及劍橋英語/IELTS 模式，全面評估英語核心競爭力。

比賽目標： 提升英語拼字準確度，擴充詞彙量，接軌國際英語水平。

比賽形式： 線上個人賽，35分鐘內完成20道題目（題型按組別有所不同）。

Competition 1: “Christmas & New Year Cup” Online English Spelling Bee
Designed by teaching experts from the UK and Australia, this competition’s format references authoritative English proficiency tests (such as Cambridge English, TOEFL, and IELTS) to strengthen students’ vocabulary and spelling skills.
Objective: To improve spelling accuracy, expand vocabulary, and align with international English standards.
Eligibility: K2 to F.6 students (grouped by grade level).
Competition Period: December 25, 2025 – January 11, 2026 (Participants can compete at any time during this period).
Format: Individual online test, 20 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 35 minutes.
Entry Fee: Completely free. Certificates and awards can be purchased optionally after the results are announced.

Competition 2: Global All-Round Development Educational Innovational Mathematic Challenge Cup 2026
This competition returns as an “International Edition,” aiming to inspire students to think beyond the traditional curriculum, develop their logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity, and connect with peers globally.
Objective: To discover multiple intelligences, hone logical thinking, enhance problem-solving skills, and strengthen academic portfolios for future studies.
Eligibility: K2 to S.4 students (grouped by grade level).
Competition Period: January 17 – 24, 2026 (Participants can compete at any time during this period).
Format: Individual online test, 20 questions to be completed within 35 minutes (question types vary by group).
Entry Fee: Completely free. Certificates and awards can be purchased optionally after the results are announced.

Our goal
Leveraging HIEA’s core strengths of “whole-person” and “innovation,” we have designed a series of online academic enlightenment challenges tailored to students to achieve the following goals:
Inspire learning interest:
Through gamified and interactive competitions, we stimulate children's strong interest in basic academic areas such as language, mathematics, science, and logic.
Develop basic abilities:
Helps children develop key cognitive skills at an early age, such as observation, memory, concentration, logical reasoning and problem-solving.
Promoting holistic development:
While providing academic enlightenment, we also cultivate children's creativity, expression ability, self-confidence, curiosity and spirit of exploration.
